      In chapter six of The Connected Educator, we talk about growing your own personal learning network or PLN. I am learning so much when it comes to this and hope to be able to implement and continue to learn even after I am done with my Exploring Your Digital Profile class. I love how the book says in the second part of this chapter, "Remember to take the posture of a learner. You will grow as you go." This chapter mentions that we should be intentional with who we follow on digital platforms. Just because someone follows us does not mean we should just follow them back. First find out if they are worth following. Zoom and Social Work: Connecting People Everywhere

          Zoom has been an amazing resource to connect with others in the field of social work. The Zoom platform is not only good for social workers but many other professions. The great thing about Zoom is that anyone can use it by just signing up and starting a meeting. It offers convenience to many in the helper fields as well as to those who are seeking help. Not only does it connect helpers to those who need help, but it connec ts helpers to one another. This can make it much easier to get employees and or volunteers in an organization together in one place to have a meeting to go over important information or to collaborate.
