Duolingo

 

Duolingo is an application that I have used myself and has taught me a lot quickly. I plan on using this application more and gaining more knowledge to better apply myself in the Spanish language as it is very valuable in my job and in life in general. There are many things you can do with the Duolingo Application including practicing saying different words in other languages. You can also practice identifying the meaning of words in another language. You can practice spelling and forming sentences as well in whatever language you choose to practice. 

Something I love about Duolingo is that you can set up goals and times you want to spend on learning a new language. Set your own pace and Duolingo will remind you of your practice so you do not forget to hop on and practice for the day. Also it helps that the visuals are just adorable. There is a lot to learn if this application is used and practice continues. I plan on continuing using this app so that I can gain more in knowledge o the Spanish language and be able to communicate more efficiently with Spanish speaking individuals. In my career, it can be tough when there is a language barrier and it prevents someone from getting the help they need or makes it harder.
